Andy-Pic-2015-244X300Maren Engineering Corporation, the industry leader in recycling balers, extends a warm welcome to Andy Kaczmarek, who recently joined its engineering team. A design engineer, Kaczmarek will play a lead role in streamlining baler manufacturing efficiency. Focusing on the fabrication process, Kaczmarek will help Maren’s manufacturing group push forward the company’s leading edge design and production process. Todd Wondrow, Maren’s President, is thrilled with Andy’s addition to the Maren team. According to Wondrow, “Andy’s broad experience and hands-on approach stands out and has allowed him to hit the ground running. In his short time with Maren, Andy has already made a positive impact on our business and customers.”

While much of his work relies upon numbers, calculations, and engineering, Kaczmarek understands the importance of a high functioning team in reaching every goal. “If you treat your teammates well, you will find success together,” Kaczmarek said. “A successful quarterback needs a great relationship with his linemen in order to win. So some days I like to buy my team pizza.”

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Andy graduated from Moraine Valley in 1994, majoring in Engineering and is continuing his education at Purdue University in Calumet, IN. Prior to joining Maren, Kaczmarek worked within the CAD department a manufacturer of process internal equipment for the oil and gas industry, managing mass transfer equipment. He also gained valuable experience working for the State of Wisconsin, managing CAD information for the department of administration.

Andy and his wife, Wendy, have two daughters, Megan (15) and Hannah (13). His hobbies include fishing, archery, and volleyball.
