Job Summary

We are seeking skilled CNC Burn Table operator to run a high paced burn table schedule to keep up with our heavy production. Previous experience running a burn table is a must. This position requires the ability to work independently with careful attention to detail. Duties include setting up the machine, running the specified program per work orders, and confirming that the parts made match the supplied blueprints.

Job Skills / Qualifications

  • Operation of burn table in both plasma and torch settings

  • Be able to safely move 5’ x 10’ sheets/plates of steel
  • Read blueprints
  • Use of portable grinder, hand file, and/or scraper as needed
  • Required to grind / clean work
  • Sort parts by specific job requirements
  • Forklift and over-head crane operation a must
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools
  • Maintain and use equipment in a safe manner

Job Expectations

  • Self-starter and motivated

  • Willingness to work OT and Saturday as needed; regular shift 6am – 2:30pm
  • Demonstrate a “CAN-DO” attitude and excel in a team environment
  • Provide high quality workmanship through neatness, organization, & attention to detail
  • Possess good communication skills & an ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Adhere to safe working practices to maintain shop standards

  • Use time management skills to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality of work

  • Successfully pass a criminal background check, and drug test
